Daniel Beckmann

Daniel Beckmann, 60, of Cedar Grove passed away on Thursday November 2nd, 2023.

            Born in Passaic, Dan was raised in Cedar Grove and lived in Glen Cove, Long Island for seven years after attending Long Island Institute of Technology where he studied architecture before then returning to Cedar Grove where he has resided since. Growing up, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 65 in Cedar Grove and earned his Eagle Scout rank. Dan was a self-employed entrepreneur and was a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Passaic.

            He was predeceased by his loved and missed parents, Frederick Otto and Anna Mae (nee Lesko) Beckmann.

            Dan is survived by his two loving and devoted siblings: Linda Craig and her husband, Garry, of Wallingford, CT and Frederick Beckmann and his wife, Maryann, of West Orange and by his nephew and nieces: Thomas Craig and his wife, Gwen, Christina Grahek and her husband, Adam and Francine Tsaris and her partner, Will Caffrey and their son, Joseph.

            Visiting will be Tuesday from 10:00am-12:00pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00pm. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either Turning Point New Jersey (www.turningpointnj.org) or St. John the Baptist RO Church, 170 Lexington Avenue, Passaic, NJ 07055 would be appreciated.
